We had such a fun Easter this year and thankfully our house is still overflowing with Candy for mommy to enjoy, I should probably put that up soon so I don't get too fat for my vacation clothes ;o) The kids are just about the perfect age for easter egg hunts (finally) so we did 3 this year! One at Concord HS, one at home and one at Grandmas! Here's a few photos of them enjoying a gorgeous Easter Sunday.

Brotherly Love
Although they test our patience at bedtime, fight over tv stations, and beg for sweets right before dinner on a daily basis, I have to say we may have some of the sweetest kids on the planet. Family is just as important to them as it is to us and even at such young ages they will tear eachother apart one minute then be the first to stick up when the other is being picked on by an outsider. Just look at this Brotherly Love... Aaaawww!

March Madness..
I can't believe I didn't update my blog once in February.
It was a busy month that FLEW by way too fast.
The highlight was getting to see President Obama speak here in Elkhart County VIP style. This was our 3rd encounter with Barack and it was all together awesome. It started off with this little hunch I had, I heard a tip that he was coming so speak in Elkhart County so I just had a feeling it would be back to Concord! Little did I know my dad had already been pounding away with the Secret Service, when I talked to him, but he was sworn to secrecy until they were able to send their official press notification. Of course I was already working all of my angles for tickets all night Friday, then 11pm Friday night it was official President Obama was to speak at Concord High School (where my dad is the principal) and by Saturday morning my dad confirmed he had 4 tickets for us.... Yeah Go Dad~!
It just so happened my mom had to attend a funeral and my Brother in Law couldn't leave his office for the day so we got to take Alex with us, he was ecstatic in way only silent Bob can be! He's sort of a riot when he's around all adults very business-like and professional. I called early Monday morning and his principal confirmed that yes it would be an excused absence for the day.
The morning was full of excitement and anticipation. We had seats on the floor and had a great viewing spot to take in all the press and of Course the President!!!! After the rally my sister and I were interviewed by USAToday so the next big excitement was they actually used her quote in the publication! Go Jenny...
Life other then that fun day has been really normal, I told Brandon growing up I always had a fascination with meeting the President and now that we've seen him 3 times its a little surreal. That combined with going to Oprah early this year, has me thinking of setting my sights on meeting say Brad Pitt next? After the year we've had with celebrity encounters anything is possible right?

Catching Snowflakes...
I just arrived home from work and its a whopping -12 outside.. BRRRRR!
Alex will be so happy to hear when he wakes up this morning that it will indeed be a 5 day "weekend" two snowdays combined with MLK day! Now my main goal for the weekend will be to keep the little Rasler's entertained so they don't destroy the house. Shouldn't be to hard with all of thier new Christmas toys to occupy them, the only problem is getting them to actually clean up when they are finished!

Happy New Year!
I have to say I already know the answer to this question, But Where Does the time go? 2008 was a really fun year and we got through it hanging by the seat of our pants. Thank You to all of our fantastic friends and relatives for such a fun and wonderful year. I feel very blessed that got to see many of our friends far and near several times as all as take a couple really nice relaxing vacations.
The uncertainty about what 2009 will bring continues to be a little scary for me, we seem to be really effected as most Americans are by the economic state of the world and I have a feeling that may bring about some scary changes in the coming months. Maybe I can finally get Brandon to take some classes without too much belly aching about time and money?
I'm sure where-ever we end up it will be an exciting year. Every minute seems to be somewhat exciting in our lives with Audrey, Drew and Alex around there truly is never a dull moment. Our little kids are quickly growing up and becoming big kids which brings a whole new set of challenges and rules. Stay tuned for lots more updates and glimples into our crazy lives.
